Only in Austin

This town has an appetite for the competitive athlete that I have seen in very few other cities, some may argue that Boulder, Scottsdale or Mammoth Lakes are hot beds for athletes to train. In many of these towns the community has transported itself there in order to isolate themselves to train and rarely step into the social limelight, they simply do there own thing and compete on a bigger stage.

Welcome to Austin

Recognize any of those names in the Top 10?

This was a monthly tuesday night $15 duathlon that local shop owner Jack and Adams puts on called the Splash and Dash. I have never been apart of a community where so many athletes interact and involve one another in their daily training and competition. I am fortunate enough to swim, ride, run and live with some of the most amazing athletes. It's Always a struggle to keep up...

For the Record:

My Result Search #47

I rounded up the top 25 with a doggy paddle swim and a redeeming run.
