First Race, Last Time

The first race of the season approaching on Monday with the Captex Tri. This triathlon in 2012 will be a first time and last time kind of race.

Life is real, Life is earnest

Lets hop in the way back when machine to 2005. Where I started training for my first triathlon while attending the University of Arkansas. During my time there a group of local athletes had worked on organizing a team that a triathlete from North West Arkansas could call there own. This team was an awesome collaboration of some very good leaders and teammates that allow me to learn much about the sport and how to compete. Ever since my acceptance to the team I gladly wore the kit and raced with passion, intensity, and enjoyment.

Since my move to Austin I have been fortunate enough to train and hangout with an incredible group of athletes. There supporter is a shop team that has an awesome footprint in the community. This has recharged my passion and enjoyment for the sport. 

Captex triathlon will be my last race in the Yellow, Black, and Red of NWA triathlon team and will mark the start with my new team:  Team Jack and Adams

So keep an eye out for me on the course monday in this uniform
